Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
First of all, thank you so much for supporting my little business. Every bead, mushroom, leaf and piece of jewellery is handmade by me in Luxembourg, one flame at a time. In fact, there are no factories and no robots involved—just me, plenty of metal music, and molten glass.
Because I make everything by hand, every piece has its own personality. As a result, you may notice tiny differences in colour, shape, or pattern. Don’t worry—those little quirks make your jewellery uniquely yours.
Changed your mind?
No worries! If you decide your new treasure isn’t quite what you expected, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it.
To qualify for a refund, please make sure your item:
- hasn’t been worn,
- is still in its original condition,
- comes back in its original packaging whenever possible, and
- includes proof of purchase.
Please note that you’ll need to cover the return postage. However, if I made a mistake or your item arrived with a genuine fault, I’ll take care of that instead.
Oh no… it arrived damaged!
Although lampworked glass is surprisingly durable, delivery drivers occasionally seem to train for the Olympic shot put.
So, if your parcel arrives damaged—or if I accidentally sent you the wrong item (I’m only human!)—please contact me within 48 hours of delivery. Simply send me your order number together with a few clear photos of both the item and the packaging.
After that, I’ll review everything as quickly as possible. Then I’ll either repair your jewellery, replace it, or issue a refund, depending on the situation.
Things I can’t accept back
Unfortunately, I can’t accept returns for:
- Custom or personalised orders made especially for you.
- Jewellery damaged through accidents, dropping, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
- Earrings, for hygiene reasons, unless they arrived damaged or faulty.
Refunds
Once your return reaches me, I’ll inspect it carefully and let you know the outcome.
If I approve the refund, I’ll send the money back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. After that, your bank or payment provider may need a little extra time to complete the transaction.
Likewise, I only refund the original shipping costs if I sent the wrong item or your jewellery arrived with a defect.
My returns policy follows the European Union consumer rights for distance selling.
